Life Model

At Beatitude House we utilize many of the Life Model principles and strategies in counseling adults, couples, families and children.     We believe the importance of healing and growth in our relationships cannot be overstated.  Our emotional and spritual maturity is directly tied to ones capacity to stay connected to God,  others and oneself when in distress.  Dr. Jim Wilder has masterfully brought together the science of brain neurobiology with the spiritual realms of relational restoration.

We utilize many of the 19 Skills Needed to Thrive as we facilitate deeper connecting in relationships at our treatment center.  The Thrive  paradigm and wide variety of training materials  (www.thrivingtoday.com)  are the Life Model in action.   We do highly recommend the Thrive conferences which we have also attended.  August, 2009 we presented our attachment treatment approach at the Track IV conference in Peoria, IL.
